Exhibition setup at Fire Station Doha
Stand Art — Qatar Human Rights Day
In November, as Doha’s cool winter breeze carried the hum of celebration, the Fire Station — Contemporary Art Space became the heart of a special gathering.
It was Qatar Human Rights Day, a moment dedicated not only to human rights but also to the values that hold our society together — family cohesion, unity, and respect for our shared heritage.
For this occasion, I was commissioned by the National Human Rights Committee to create a banner and stand artwork that would serve as the exhibition’s visual anchor. The committee’s vision was clear: to present a design that celebrated the role of art in strengthening bonds between people, highlighting both Qatar’s proud traditions and its commitment to a just, inclusive future.

Final Piece

The final piece blended Qatari cultural aesthetics with bold, modern design elements. Every line and curve was intentional, symbolizing harmony, equality, and the deep connections between families, communities, and generations. It was not only a work of design but also a tribute to the NHRC’s ongoing efforts to support heritage, social cohesion, and the cultural meaning behind Qatar Human Rights Day.
Standing tall in the exhibition hall, the artwork greeted guests as they entered, setting the tone for the event. It sparked conversations about the meaning of rights, the importance of unity, and how shared traditions continue to inspire progress.
Stand art front view
Displayed in one of Doha’s most respected creative spaces, the stand art became more than just decoration. It was a Exhibition — a piece of Qatar’s visual identity woven into a day dedicated to awareness, cultural pride, and the enduring strength of family and community ties.
